So I scored me a freelance job, in which I'm designing a series of newspaper adverts for an architectural firm just up the road. It's my first ok paying (by NZ freelance design rates) job that's more than a one-off item, and I'm getting 45 bucks an hour for it. So huzzah. I'll probably post them up here once they're done, as long as the client doesn't mind.
I'm currently nose deep in several interesting readings that one of my Ucol tutors gave me on feminism. She's got a doctorate in Anthropology, so we had a good chat about stuff.
