I've been slack about updating this blog of mine recently, but I feel with good reason.
Healing up from the drunken fall of doom has been a slow process. I've spent most of the time since last Friday in bed or slowly limping about to stretch my legs, and taking pain relief pills to stop either the muscle spasms that come with fucked up hamstrings, or the headaches that come with knocking your bonce on a hard wooden surface.
Getting to sleep has been difficult, since my legs are currently ultra sensitive to the cold and give me cramps whenever I move the wrong way in bed. Last night I finally snapped at around 5 am and threw on a pair of jeans, cranked the heater right up and took one of Annah's ultra strong pills which knocked me out like a charging elephant.
On the up side I got some holiday pay from Green Door today, which will make things a leetle easier for a couple of weeks, so that's cool. Plus Peter is talking to the guy down in Wellington who did the original branding that I used, and it's possible that there could be some long distance design work going with him.
The 48 hour film competition is tomorrow night. I'm a little apprehensive about it, and I've already come to the conclusion that I won't be going out in the field with the camera crews, which sucks. Once I've written the script I'm gonna have to get some sleep so I don't die, but I figure I can hang around HQ and be as helpful as I can there.
Bleh.
