So, a good time was had.
The design school contingent was a bit on the thin side, but a decent number of Palmy Geek Crowd™ also showed up, with assorted out of towners. So I got to see a goodly number of people, which was cool. Big thanks for those of you from Hamilton and Wellington who made it.
I drunkenly (and stonedly, which should totally be a word) noticed that there wasn't much mingling going on between the two lots of people, but never mind. The party was more sedate than previous affairs, but nonetheless quite enjoyable.
In other news, we are training Boris not to bark his little head off whenever someone knocks on the door. I don't mind him growling, but the whole yappy small dog thing is getting old. In this project we are employing the use of a small spray bottle, and telling him 'quiet' every time he barks. It's working, slowly, and he's already picking up on what 'quiet' means, without always getting the spray bottle in the chops, which is encouraging.
