So, uh... it turns out that this film I made a while ago, 'The Messenger' which is basically about an evil angel who likes to kill people in their dreams, has been nominated for best cinematography and best editing for this university movie competition that I was talked into entering.
I'm still not sure how this was managed. Possibly all the other entries consisted of ten minute long shots of dead birds, or the crazed ramblings of naked old men, but who knows. I'm going along tonight to be horribly embarrassed since it will be shown on the big screen, along with the other finalists or something. I have no idea what the prizes are or how I managed to get this far even in a student competition. It's fairly amusing.
If I do win anything, I'll post the video online since it can't be any more embarrassing then having it shown in front of a bunch of strangers tonight...
