Most of you by now have probably noticed that the Youtube comments box has an audio preview button, apparently inspired by the xkcd comic. How awesome is that! Naturally I took it for a test drive with the most vile swear words I could think of, and it handled them pretty well.
(No, I didn't actually post what I wrote on some dude's comment section. Geez people.)
So my question is, do you think this will have an effect on what people have to say in text comments? I think the fact that it doesn't happen automatically makes it easier to ignore. Plus I have doubts as to whether hearing the crap that they're writing would stop the average douchebag from putting it down anyway.
