Going For A Walk

Went into town this morning to send stuff off at the post office and stretch my legs. The weather was blustery but fairly pleasant. Kids were out along my street walking puppies and all was pleasant with the world.

On the way home I got a call on my cell phone; Midcentral Health guy calling up to tell me I missed out on the job. Le sigh. Apparently it had come down to me and two others in the top three, but the head designer decided she got on better with one of the other candidates, which is fair enough in a gut wrenchingly disappointed kinda way.

Mmmyup. Tossing up between writing this day off and getting my grump on or keeping busy and not thinking about how much that sucks for a while. I have many things to do so probably the latter. I'll sulk later when I'm feeling more self indulgent.
