My flatmates and I have started engaging in evening sessions of football hackey. It's a lot of fun and fairly decent exercise when played for an hour or so. Already after a couple of days we've made marked improvement and have only kicked the ball over the neighbours fence once. On Thursday I'll be getting new pedals for my bike, which is otherwise ready to go for epic treks around Palmerston North, which doesn't have much in the way of Doom Hills for me to stagger up and down. What's up with that?
Talking of marked improvements, my rockband guitar skills have gone from abysmal to fairly decent on easy mode. We'll be busting it out at Annah's party, which I'm looking forward to, on Friday. Incidentally, consider yourselves invited if you're reading this and haven't already received the word.
Currently listening to: the Passenger album, by Jordan Reyne. Very good kiwi muscian with a beautiful singing voice and ability to make a kick ass concept album. What kind of music do you like listening to when you're doing creative stuff?

Oh, cool to see you're into Jordan. Her earlier album (Iron Man?) is good, but then the one ofter that, "The Lonliest of Creatures" is a bit high-concept for me. It's a concept album about a lost sattelite, or something.
Jordan was a friend of mine when she lived in Palmy.
What about the hill out by Massey? when I was a much younger fitter version of my self, I used to bike the Massey loop, e.g up the hill - along Summerhill then hang a left at old west road. Then it turns into a big circuit which turns into SHW57 which takes you back into town.
And Radiohead is my creative tunage. no question.
