The Night Out

Michael and I went round to Freeman's place tonight, with the intention of playing Spaaaaaaaaaace Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiisk, which is much like regular Risk, only it's the FAR FUTURE which means you can take over the moon and a bunch of underwater domed cities and it's STILL boring as all hell so we ended up sitting around and talking instead and drinking tea once Annah arrived and started howling for the blood of infused bush leaves.

The walk home was pretty cool. I love cities (or small hick studenty towns, in this case) at night time. The streets were mostly deserted, except for small bands of feral proto-students, not yet rounded up and put into the correct institutions by the appropriate authorities. The air was unseasonably cool, even for Palmy at this time of year, but not unpleasantly so.

Tomorrow night I'm going to go see Sherlock Holmes with the lads. I've been looking forward to the comedy stylings and homoerotic overtones of the Victorian bromance movie for a while, and have every confidence that it should be highly entertaining.
