Today I was visited by the fabulous MC monster, who descended upon the hapless denizens of Palmerston North like a well heeled hurricane. Ohh how I love sitting with her at a cafe and watching the waitresses jaws drop as she casually lets rip with a ribald statement that would make a sailor blush. Comedy gold I tells ya. It was very cool catching up and seeing cute pics of her little pod people who are growing up fast, and exchanging stories of recent escapades.
We have learned much from each other over the years. Makes for one of those friendships that I can fall back into quite comfortably after not seeing each other for however long.
Otherwise my Saturday was nice and relaxing. Tomorrow I have many and varied projects to be getting on with, and next weekend is another trip to Wellington for Craig and Sarah's engagement party, followed by Tamsyn's belated birthday brunch (balancing bananas and balloons? Beautifully bestowed, besides).
