So... as I sit here, creating a portfolio of my cartooning work and projects for an illustration job, one that I am competing for with another ex classmate, who I feel has a better illustrative style than me and also has kids (this is apparently a bonus since the job is for a parenting book)... as I sit here doing this and try very hard to stay calm and not think that my cartoons are shit and that I'm not going to get this job in a bajillion years...
Who amongst you has some good links on character writing? I'm wanting to check some out at some stage for my comic project. Basically anything that goes into developing different voices for your characters would be awesome.
Grrr. This sucks. I'm absolutely fine with doing design work, because it's my secondary love, I guess. But the thing I really love to do terrifies me. STUPID BRAIN I WILL NOT GIVE IN.
