Had a skype meeting yesterday for a possible second job with the Book Illustration People (well one of them anyway) and producer/director dude. Basic gist, and without saying anything that might get me into trouble, is that they're planning a kids show along the 'uplifting message of being positive, etc' lines, with some quite cartoony characters and featuring a Celeb Of The Week. The cartoony characters need to be designed for the initial proposal, along with some possible storyboarding, and they're currently looking at me to do the job for them.

Sooooo yeah. Having another meeting with them today, after the director/producer dude has looked at my cartoon portfolio and I've had a chance to read over the proposal and character outline. I'm pretty excited and I really hope I get this job. I reckon I could do the characters justice, plus I have enough film experience to be able to storyboard fairly easily.
