HOWEVER! Tomorrow I will be getting out of bed at semi respectable times again (I try to be up and doing stuff by 9 am, which I think is pretty gosh darn respectable for an unemployed designer) and also getting back into slogging up and down hills on my bike. Exercise is the best thing to ward off depression that can come with not having much to do (yay endorphins!) as well as moving blood through my head at high speed, which is always useful when you're in the business of creating stuff. I've also been slowly writing things down that I have to do as they come to me during the day. Witness my amazing organisational capabilities and tremble.
Job seeking websites seem to be picking back up, slowly. I've been applying for an average of 2 to 3 design jobs a week for the last month, through Trademe and Seek, which is an improvement. Definitely better than it was a few months back.
On the weekend of the 1st of May I shall have to organise some kind of low key leaving Palmerston North drinkies event type thing. Maybe even get a few of you Wellingtonians up for it if you're bored and feel like getting drunk in a bleak marshy student town. AND WHO WOULDN'T.
