Things About Today

1) Awesome new boots are awesome. Also got pretty pens and paper from Gordon Harris, which I really should get around to claiming as a business expense, which really means I need to get around to registering as a business. Duly noted and added to the increasingly labyrinth and mammoth list of Things To Do And Organise.

2) If you're going to be Crazy On The Internet, at least try not to contradict the hateful ramblings that you crap all over the world wide web the previous week. Consistency is key here when you're a narcissistic, self-deluded snake desperately trying to act logical, thoughtful and blessedly free of personality defects. Take notes people, there may be a test later.

3) I made my first Tea Purchases also today, namely 150 grams of Russian Caravan (the tea of Broken Dreams™) and one of those cool clamping mesh thingees that you put loose leaf tea into and sit inside your cup. Especially useful when you have a cup that contains half the contents of one teapot. Also you can squeeze them when speaking and pretend they're a talking puppet.

4) C4C camp is on NEXT FRIDAY HOLY CRAP HOW DID THIS EVEN HAPPEN SO FAST. We meet our kids this very Tuesday at the Meeting Dinner, and tonight was the last training session ever. Some of the mentors were starting to look a bit nervous in the service, but I think on the whole we have an amazing group, and it's going to be a lot of fun. I love being involved with something like this and I love the group of people that I'm getting to know through the program.
