Arrrr, 'Twas A Good Day

Man. What a day. Was close to being perfect, all things considered. I woke up at Tamsyn's place and got up with her at 7, because frankly staying in bed while she had to get up on a blustery cold morning like that would have just been cruel. Also I had work.

Taxied up to my place, since the night before I'd bought a new heater, some clothes, two new regular pillows plus a three corner pillow for sitting up in bed with. Got all that home, grabbed a slice of toast then it was back down the hill to work. Today and yesterday have been spent working on Booklet of Doom, a many page'd beast that is the vehicle for my crash course in the more in depth aspects of print publishing with Adobe Indesign. By the time that bad boy is finished I'm going to be able to put together my usual magazine in my sleep. Had an amazingly good day at the office today, bopping away to Goldfish, who have taken first place in my list of Massively Boppy Bands To Get Things Done To. SO CATCHY.

Lunchtime I went with the PA to check out a kickboxing gym (as a possible C4C mentee excursion) and also picked up a new waistcoat and checkered shirt, which I will be rocking out at Tamsyn and Vanessa's party on Saturday. My transformation into a hipster is almost complete. I just need to practice my aloof sneering. Also I got a 15 dollar Autobot symbol cushion from Farmers because I'm a giant nerd and HOW CAN I PASS UP SUCH THINGS.

This evening I need to make a start on freelancing, wrangle my mentee to meet up tomorrow, go through my drawers and throw out old clothing aaaaaand possibly watch some tutorial videos if I have the time. Whoo!
