Uh, let's see. Life is awesomely awesome, covered in awesome sauce. Plenty of work hours, in fact I'm full time at the moment which is cool. Getting on very well with the boss and other work colleagues, and my Magazine Design skill rating continues to have XP sunk into it through a series of training montages.
A few days ago Tamsyn took this photo as she walked down the hill from my house to work. Is it not awesome? I get to see this view every day.

Mentoring goes well. The organisation got my mentee a cellphone to borrow, which has made keeping in touch mucho easier, and last weekend we went to laser tag which was great fun. Tomorrow is go karting; basically I'm reliving my childhood with him and also getting to show him fun things to do around Wellington at the same time.
In September a bunch of us are heading up to Hamilton for Calum's 30th. Wacky fun! Mark will be over from the UK and I'm even dragging poor Tamsyn up to The Swamp, where I can show her such Hamilton attractions as The Gardens, Some Bridges, The River and Shouting White-Trash Trying To Run Us Over In His Shitty Loud Car. SUCH TIMES WE WILL HAVE.
Oh, and last night I had my first ever martini! I think it was stirred and not shaken, as according to Mark who seems to Know Things, the reason Bond asked for his martini's shaken was because as an ex soldier he was used to having shitty alcohol in his martini's, and low quality booze tasted better when somewhat 'bruised' by the shaking action. It tasted like minty petrol.
So here is a pic of me in town with a martini wearing my skull hands hoodie and looking like a smug git. Which I kinda am, so that's okay. ALL CLASS.
