I have so far packed six boxes of books and my remaining documents/nick nacks... which is actually most of my stuff. I've managed to discard two and a half rubbish bags of unwanted things, including a fair to middling sized CD collection that was sitting in my cupboard neglected, and now it's mainly just things like clothing (that can very conveniently be transported in my nice big travel case), a couch, shelves, bedding, etc.
Thankfully I still have the internets at the old flat for the remaining few days of my habitation here, since I have Things To Do like get my studylink on and organise a meeting with my mentee's social worker, etc. This morning was spent screaming imprecations at my laptop as Google's Chrome browser proved to be too much for the government websites I was trying to access, so I can try again this afternoon using crusty old Firefox, with less screaming of imprecations. Probably.
