1) Had Craig and Sarah over for dinner last night. It was really lovely, and Tamsyn did amazing things with little stew filled pies and roast potatoes. Plus I made a salad. I CONTRIBUTED! There was whiskey and fine conversation late into the night and I totally forgot (as always) how low my alcohol tolerance is (probably the one entertaining thing about diabetes) and ended up all sleepy on the couch while the grownups continued talking. Good times.
2) Started reading Gravey's blog, which is really insightful, well written and pretty much the male perspective feminist blog I've been looking for.
3) Amusingly, now I have assignments coming out of my ears, work has picked up for a while. So I'll be keeping my head down either at work or school for the coming week(s). And on that note, it's back to my readings. Ursula M Franklin has things to tell me about how we interface with technology.
