Hello, internets! How've you been?
I am "working" on my last assignment EVAR for school. It is still a map, and it's going okay. I've ended up doing a map for the city library, which could end up as an interactive screen map now, thanks to my research and interviews.
Have you noticed that Americans on TV who get applauded also join in the clapping? It strikes me as a weird thing, to join in when the applause is for you, and I've only ever seen Americans do this. Us colonial types tend to wave or just look awkward. I'm curious as to what people from other cultures do, I might look up some footage.
My cell phone is playing me the incredibly obnoxious pop music that Vodafone like to inflict on people who are on hold. I've put it on speaker mode and set it down. It's been playing for the last hour. I'm starting to suspect that nobody is going to answer.
My time in Palmerston North is measured in months. Exciting stuff.
Also, it's my birthday on the 8th of September. I'm vaguely thinking about a booze up in the week or so after that. Would out of towners be interested in showing up?
