Extended Easter Weekend

I wasn't going to blog about this until after the fact, but sod it. I'm quite excited about the weekend, which means you, my faithful readers, must have my associated blatherings poured all over your eyeballs like flaming word goo.

I'm heading down to Wellington from Thursday to Tuesday and the itinerary is AWESOME.

Thursday, I am spending with Jarrod and Steph, where I am told there will be fish. Whether this means eating it or Jarrod chasing me naked around the house trying to hit me with a salmon; anyone's guess. You can thank me for the mental image later.

Friday I am spending with Tamsyn, though I'm sneaking in a stint with Craig at midday. After seeing my fellow BAVI designer (who will hopefully be working for the fire service soon, putting out fires with photoshop - much easier than actually using water, I'm told), my girl and I will be spending the afternoon lounging about together being indolent.

Quiet in the cheap seats.

Saturday! GOING TO THE ZOO MOTHER TRUCKERS. And then ROCKBAND DINNER PARTY at Jarrod and Steph's place. It is entirely possible that my head will explode from all the concentrated awesome that Saturday has to offer, so if you see a distant mushroom cloud and a smoldering ponytail falls into your lap, you'll know what just happened.

Sunday! Going to Andy and Tamara's for dinner. I think they've put us in charge of dessert, the poor fools. Also that day, MORE LOUNGING. By which I mean hangover recovery from the night before.

ZOMG MONDAY. On this day, I shall be working on the job project that I've been given, which is a logo for a pet kennel place. Have laptop can travel, but basically I'll be holed up in Tamsyn's lounge and beavering away on the job so that I can send it off the following morning for changes and such before heading back to Palmy. Also? There might be some more lounging around together if we can fit it in. OUR LIVES ARE SO HARD.

EXTRA SPECIAL CAPS NOTICE: For those of you that I'm not booked in to see, either I'll get ahold of you for a catch up while I'm down, or I'll make plans for A Thing next time I head into town (likely the latter since I plan on spending a lot of Girl Time). Simon! Emma! It would be cool to do a dinnery or drinky thing (or both) with you guys! Possibly with others! We should talk about it soon! Craig and Sarah! Same with you!
