Employable

I'm going into the magazine office on Monday for my trial day of 'can Dan use adobe software like he said he could and not burn down the building while setting up some type layout', then if all goes well after that, I'll be officially starting work on the following Thursday.

*clears throat*

FUCK YEAH.

The only slight down side that I can see is that I'll be working on a Windows machine (boo! hiss!) in the office. Probably won't be allowed to bring in my laptop, but I'll ask anyway. Though I'll wait until I have extra RAM in the thing first, since Indesign is slowing it down a tad currently.

Somehow I don't think they'll get a part time freelancer a nice new Mac to work on...
