Tutorials

So tomorrow is the start of my Great Tutorial Adventure. I spent today getting ready for it by lining up a bunch of tutorials on browser windows so I won't be reliant on wireless in town, and then got a whole lot of washing and room tidying and vacuuming and such done so that I could frolic down the hill early tomorrow morning, happy in the knowledge that my base of operations is secure, clean and not covered in unwashed socks.

Basically, the plan is to spend each day down in the library, armed with my trusty laptop and a packed lunch, and to go through a chosen tutorial for 6 or so hours or however long it takes me to complete the given project. I'm undertaking lengthy tutorials, mainly web design ones in Photoshop to start out with, so that my resume can be padded out with more material. Also once I've done enough web layouts to feel comfortable, I'll be designing my own portfolio website to put up once I have moneys for hosting.
