Still Here

I post a bit less on here these days, because there are some things that I don't really feel like talking about to people that I don't know/trust/have close enough to hit with sticks, etc; namely job stuff or relationship stuff or whatever, and so I post about those kinds of things on my revitalised, very friends locked livejournal account.

Having said that though, I am by no means intending to stop posting here. I like having a public blog where I can rant about bees and politics and design stuff, and I shall continue to do so as the mood takes me. Like, did you know that Welsh people all have six toes on each foot? It's true, grab one off the street and check for yourself.

In Tea News, I have finished off the Russian Caravan, Ceylon Breakfast and Earl Grey samples. OHNOES ONLY FIFTEEN MORE TO GO. This may be why I called for a tea party round at Tamsyn's, so I can share my loose leafed bounty with the girls. Also Steph has promised bacon muffins WHICH WASN'T AT ALL A FACTOR IN THIS DECISION.

Tomorrow shall be prepping the house for the party of doom on Saturday, which is a joint celebration of madness involving my coming to Wellington, Richard's birthday AND Richard and Alannah's sneaky Christchurch elopement! HOLY CRAP. If you don't suck then consider yourself invited.

Currently listening to: Richard's MANOWAR™ album: THE TRIUMPH OF STEEL™ (ARCHILLES: THE AGONY AND ECSTASY IN EIGHT PARTS) which is a glorious hair metal concept piece based on the story of Archilles. It is as amazing as you would expect and I am throwing the horns RIGHT NOW. Don't ask me how I'm typing.
