Yawny Yawn Face

Good weekend thus far. Friday night I took Tamsyn out to dinner at La Metropolitain on Cuba street. We were greeted by a nice waitress who left me wondering for the entire night whether her French accent was fake or not. Pretty sure it wasn't; I'm just weird. Aaaaaanyway, the food was delicious. We had snails in garlic butter and pate on bread for starters, then both decided to try the duck for mains, which was amazing. It came with beans and slices of sausage and was a perfect winter dish. Om nom nom.

Today has been sedate. Played Ye Olde Sim City 4, watched some Indesign tutorial videos, vaguely thought about cleaning my room then decided to put it off and had some more tea instead. I also watched the episodes 'The Lodger' and 'The Pandorica Opens' of Doctor Who, which were enjoyable. Only one more episode of season 5 left to go! Flawless victory.

Other things that rock: coming home to find all my groceries waiting for me. This week I decided to put in for the online food shopping that my flatmates do. Since both of our big shops easily came to over X amount, we got it sent out to us for only 7 dollars more than we'd normally pay. Frankly, that's more than worth not going out in that shitty weather and trudging back laden like unto a camel. AHAHA TAKE THAT WELLINGTON HILLS.
