Hackity Hack, Don't Come Back

And after a night of hacking away with a dry, chainsaw like cough I've lost my voice! I can see the smiles on your faces now. Well it's okay, I don't have the best voice anyway. It sounds horrible listening to it on playback, which I'm aware is the case with most people, but I like to think mine is especially awful. Plus according to Tamsyn I say 'girls' as 'gals' which is a terrible thing for a person to find out at the age of 30.

Been an interesting week. If by interesting you mean largely boring and uneventful due to being all sick and stuff in bed.

Online drama seems to be mostly resolved, which is nice.

Got an unexpected Calum visitation this weekend, and spent Sunday afternoon hanging out with him and Andy and having a good catch up. Very likely didn't do my voice any favours by chatting all evening in between bouts of a horribly dry cough, but then I wouldn't have found out that Calum hopes to put a spa bath into the back of his van. And how cool is that?

What else. Oh yes, Paul Henry's resignation. Can I say anything about the guy that hasn't already been said? I guess if I wanted to strive for some semi originality, I would say I'm glad he got fired, he deserved it but I also feel sorry for him because he loved his job and got on well with his workmates, and having to lose that would be really shit for anyone. Maybe this will learn him?

Rest of the week: work, seeing mentee kid, gaming with friends, dinner with Tamsyn's folks... AND A CUDDLY TOY! *audience cheers*
