Ultramarines And You: Spartany Romans In Space.

So I've long been a fan of painting things blue. My last endeavour was a pretty decent sized Cygnar army for Warmachine, pics of which can be found here.

Now, thanks in part to a prolonged period of downtime due to nearly losing my toes (they were down the back of the couch it turns out), I've gotten back into the modelling bug along with a few friends, including vomkrieg and bellum malleus. The good people at Games Workshop are supplying my habit in the form of Space Marines, plus a few third party companies that make spare parts for making a more customised looking army. In my case I wanted to bring out the spartan/roman feel of the Ultramarine chapter, so I've ordered some greek crests and helmets to go with my little plastic dudes.

I'll start making semi regular updates as my painting progresses, along with interesting conversions (ie custom made stuff) that I work on and squads that get finished.
