Currently reading: Oh man. Why did I start the blog entry with this? I'm halfway through A Game Of Thrones, and I'm really enjoying it, but for some reason I keep on getting distracted! I sat around in Arty Bees for half an hour before heading to the airport on Friday, and impulse purchased Unseen Academicals, which I've now started too. Also browsing through Graphic Design Solutions, which is a pretty neat design exercise book I got from the same shop, plus I still really want to get around to picking up Guardian of the Dead, of which I have read the first chapter and found massively fun and interesting.

Currently listening: Let's see. Tried out the album Disconnect from Desire by School of Seven Bells. It was pleasant but didn't grab me; I found it fairly limp and airy fairy. A review I totally agreed with called them pretty but lacking in substance. Playing the crap out of Birds of Prey, an early album from Jordan Reyne that I adore, possibly even more so than the later Passenger. Also The Suburbs by Arcade Fire, which I am enjoying quite a bit.

ALSO: Vanessa linked me to last.fm, which is a great site for looking up music you like, and then getting suggestions to similar music. How you then seek out and obtain the new music that you discover is of course entirely up to you.

Currently watching: Why, True Blood of course! Amazingly I have managed to not watch season 3 yet, since Tamsyn is being caught up with 1 and 2 first. But now the latest season is finished we can get the whole thing and watch through it. Huzzah! Plus this tomorrow I'm heading over to Jarrod's to watch Night of Champions WWE wrestling. Oh hell yes.

Currently eating: I'm on a bit of a fish and salad kick at the moment. Today I had the last of my crumbed fish with a capsicum, baby tomato, cucumber, carrot and feta salad AND IT WAS DELICIOUS. Also drinking all the Russian Caravan tea ever thanks to Sarah. Even if she wasn't lovely I'd probably keep her around just because she works in a tea shop...

Currently learning: Not much lately, which is something I'm seeking to remedy. Hence I bought some fairly cool magazines this week, namely Frankie and Real Groove, since they're both pretty awesome examples of print design and also talk about Current Things that all the kids these days are doing. Also! I got this beautiful little book from the cart guy at work for a mere 20 dollars, full of recipes for two people! I plan on expanding my cooking repertoire and inflicting poor Tamsyn with the results. Moohoohaha.
